Westgate Hills Joins Forces with UMMS for Innovative Cardiac Care Program

Westgate Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Baltimore has entered into a groundbreaking partnership with the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) to launch a unique cardiac initiative. As the sole skilled nursing facility selected by UMMS in the area, Westgate Hills, with its 120-bed capacity, will offer in-facility rehabilitation services for the University of Maryland Medical Center’s Main and Midtown campuses. The program, overseen by UMMS doctors Reyaz U. Haque and Anuj Gupta, aims to enhance recovery and reduce readmissions for cardiac patients in the Baltimore community. Westgate Hills, recognized for its commitment to progressive cardiac care, recently earned the Skilled Nursing Facility Heart Failure Center Certification from the American Heart Association.
